Former City Loanee Joins Bury

Former Coventry City loanee Callum Reilly has joned Bury.

Reilly, who made twenty appearances for City whlilst on loan from Burton Albion, whom he joined after leaving Birmingham City, where he worked with Lee Clark who is now manager of Bury.

Speaking about Reilly, who will sign a two year deal on July 1st, Clark said: “I am delighted to have secured the services of Callum.

"He is a player that I know very well. 

"Callum has the attributes to compliment the other midfielders at club and is a powerful, competitive athlete. 

"He is also versatile, so we are delighted with this signing as we know there were at least four other clubs in our league chasing his signature.”

Reilly said:"I’m extremely happy to get this sorted and cannot wait to get started.

"Obviously, I know the manager very well from my time at Birmingham and cannot wait to play for him again.

"The project the chairman told me about sounds fantastic and it’s something I want to be a part off.

"The manager is building a good squad here and after he showed me around Carrington I knew that I wanted to be a part of it.

"I cannot see many League One clubs competing with the training facilities we have.”
