Former Coventry City loanee Gary Gardner has been loaned by Aston Villa to cross town rivals Birmingham City.
Gardner, who scored on his Sky Blues debut away at Brighton, has been loaned to Birmingham City for the rest of the season.
He told BCFC.com: “I’m delighted to be here. It's a massive opportunity to be here and I can’t wait to get going.
“I need to play games now at 26 years of age. I’ve played a lot of games last year. I’m buzzing to be here. I just want to get out there and give my all for this club.
“It’s a tough division and it’s only getting stronger. As I say, I’m ready for the challenge and I can’t wait to get going.”
