Former Coventry City loanee Gary Madine has been arrested, accordiing to media reports.
Madine, who did not cause a spot of bother during his two loan spells with the Sky Blues, was reportedly involved in an altercation at a pub in Gateshead, near Newcastle.
Bolton have said that they will believe Madine, who has served jail time, will not face any further action but Wanderers Chairman Ken Anderson said: “Off the pitch, we are aware of the situation which has been reported in the media this morning regarding Gary Madine and although we believe that no further action is being taken by the authorities, we will be looking at the matter through our own processes.”
