Former City Defender Getting Job At West Ham?

Former Coventry City defender Stuart Pearce is being named as the new assistant to David Moyes at West Ham United, according to some reports.

Talk Sport are being reported as having said that Pearce, who was spotted by Bobby Gould playing for Wealdstone and made 51 appearances for the Sky Blues, scoring four times before being sold to Nottingham Forest with Ian Butterworth, has shook hands on a coaching position with The Hammers.

Pearce is a former West Ham player, making 41 appearances between 1999 and 2001 and could be in the dug-out with Moyes for West Ham's next game away to Watford on Sunday November 19th.
