Former Coventry City defender Sam Ricketts is in line, according to media reports, to become the next manager of Shrewsbury Town.
Ricketts, who made 46 appearances for City, has not long signed a new three year deal to continue to manage National League side Wrexham AFC and has taken them to third in the table.
Shrewsbury have been without a manager since dismissing John Askey.
