Fisher Remaining Coy Over New Stadium

Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher continues to be coy about a new stadium for the Sky Blues.

Mr Fisher said after SISU lost the Judicial Review that Plan A was now a new stadium, with playing at the Ricoh Arena a possibility whilst the stadium is built, as long as the club had full access to all available match day streams.

Mr Fisher told the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert that it was a difficult question as to when signs of a new stadium would appear and said: “The counterparts we have been using around the new stadium development, and the parties we have done a groundshare deal with, have come under immense pressure from the council and ACL.

“We can not expose our new counterpart to that. Look at Northampton Town. There was a £2million law suit slapped on them which fell away.”
