Defender Robert Page is not expecting to play in City's two friendlies in America.
Although the Welshman will be travelling with the City side which leaves on Wednesday and plays their opening game in Portland on Saturday, Page has targetted the opening league game against Sunderland as well as some of the pre-season games in England against Nuneaton,Notts County, Tranmere or Boavista.
First Two Friendlies Look Out For Page
Page who is recovering from surgery to sort out a hip problem told the CET:"I am targetting the first game against Sunderland and as soon as we come back from the States,I will be looking to play in a couple of friendlies and I will be disappointed if I am not in contention by then.
"I have got a lot of work to do between now and when we go to America and I will up my work whilst I am over there and crack on when I get back."
