Coventry City beat Oxford United 2-1 tonight to record their first home league win of the season.
At the Ricoh Arena on a cold evening, City took the lead in the 28th minute through a stunning 25 yarder from Ben Stevenson.
They added to that with a Marvin Sordell tap in just before the break.
Oxford had more of the play in the second half in front of a crowd of 9,912 and scored in stoppage time through Cov kid Danny Crowley who had come on a substitute but City took the win.
