Chris Kirkland has joined Wigan Athletic from Liverpool. The keeper had been on loan at the JJB but Latics boss Paul Jewell decided the make the move permanent. This move means that City will get no more cash from Liverpool who paid £6m plus extras for the Barwell born custodian.
