Coventry City striker Freddie Eastwood is battling to be fit to play against his former club Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Sky Blues next match on October 18th.

The striker has tendinitis in his knee and an ankle injury sustained during the win against Southampton and was forced to withdraw from Wales' World Cup Qualifiers.

Said Chris Coleman to the CT: "Freddie has got tendinitis in his knee and got a kick on the ankle on Saturday. "I understand he has spoken with both John Toshack and Dean Saunders.

"He has not trained with us and our doctor spoke with the Welsh doctor and they both decided that it would be best if he didn't go,so he is staying for treatment."
