Eastwood on Barnsley Goal

Coventry City striker Freddie Eastwood said his goal against Barnsley on Saturday was a fluke.

Some of the City support thought it was Clinton Morrison who scored but Eastwood claimed the goal which you can see here http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vBl_-Eq9Shg

Eastwood said to the CT: "I crossed it and it went in," he said, "but I have been going close with a lot of shots this season so I'll take anything at the moment.

"We are delighted with the team performance - we don't seem to be starting brilliantly and we can definitely play a lot better, but we're winning and that's the main thing. "Confidence is so important.

"Barnsley had lost their last two so we wanted to keep them quiet early doors, sit tight for 20 or 25 minutes, and then start playing ourselves - and that's what we did.

"The pitch could have been that little bit wetter for us but I think they know that we're a decent footballing side so they didn't water it. But although the team change affected us a little bit we stuck at it and got what we deserved.
