Coventry City striker Freddie Eastwood has been called up by Wales for their next two World Cup qualifiers.

The striker, who scored against Blackpool on Satursay, is in John Toshack's squad for the games against Liechtenstein and Germany.

Former City striker Craig Bellamy is also in the squad.

Talking about his goal against Blackpool, Eastwood said to the club website: "That will definitely give me more confidence for the next game

"I always thought I've been playing well but just not hitting the target and now, with that goal, I'm just looking forward to the next game against Cardiff.

"I thought we were unlucky not to get the three points against Blackpool becasue I thought we were the better team but getting the point will put us in a good frame of mind for Tuesday night."
