Wolverhampton Wanderers and Ipswich Town are both interested in signing former Coventry City midfielder Lee Carsley.
The former Republic Of Ireland international is coming to the end of a two year deal at Birmingham City and the player who has a son at Coventry City's Academy said: "I have to be honest and admit that it's frustrating at the moment. As a footballer all you want to do is play, you want to play in every minute of every game and that's not happening for me at the moment,"
Carsley made 49 appearances for City before being sold to Everton for £1.9m in 2002.
