Coventry City manager Andy Thorn faces a number of weeks without Herman Hreidarsson and Conor Thomas.

Both players picked up injuries during the defeat a week ago at Blackpool with Hreidarsson now requiring another scan on his dislocated shoulder whilst Conor Thomas is out with an abductor muscle pull. Thorn already has Nathan Cameron and Chris Hussey out with injuries.

Speaking to the CT’s Alan Poole, Andy Thorn said: “Hermann is having another scan on his dislocated shoulder,” said Thorn, “but if he’s feeling it you know that it’s a nasty one.

“He really is an amazing man. At Blackpool he came into the dressing room saying ‘sorry lads, that was my fault’ when he’d been running up the pitch trying to push his arm back into its socket!

“Conor looks as though he could be out for a while because his injury is right at the top of his groin and they are always difficult to treat. Cyrus isn’t as bad, but he was in too much pain when he had his fitness test on Saturday.”
