Former Coventry City midfielder Michael Doyle is a target for Portsmouth FC, managed by another former Coventry City midfielder Paul Cook.
Doyle is a free agent after being released after four years at Sheffield United, following his move from the Sky Blues in 2011.
According to the Portsmouth News: "Attempts to potentially seal a deal are presently on hold, after Doyle jetted off on holiday at the weekend."
