Burnley are virtually mathematically safe with a 3-0 home win over Norwich City. Akinbiyi scored in the first half with very late goals form Gray and Elliott giving the Clarets a greater margin of victory which sees them move the Sky Blues down to seventeenth.

Leicester City remain in danger of being relegated after losing their game in hand 2-1 at home to Birmingham City. Jaidi and Larsson scored for Steve Bruce's side with Newton nettng for the Foxes late on. The defeat leaves Leicester only two points above the bottom three.

Locally,Bedworth drew 4-4 at Cinderford Town. Leamington lost 2-1 at Market Dreyton with Jamie Towers on the scoresheet for the Brakes.

Coventry Copsewood's home game with Pershore was abandoned with the visitors 4-0 up due to an injury. Bottom side Alveston lost 11-0 at home to Coleshill Town.

In the first division, South Warwickshire side Ettington were beaten 3-1 at home by title favourites Bartley Green.
