Dowie Wants Wednesday Date Sorted

Coventry City Manager Iain Dowie has called for the rearranged game against Sheffield Wednesday to be played as quickly as possible.
Early reports on Saturday rumoured Dowie as wanting the game played as early as this week.

However, organising the match this quickly would require the full agreement of the police and Sheffield Wednesday and would inconvenience many of the 18,192 ticket holders who were at the abandoned game on Saturday.

The clubs are currently in discussions about the date of the game and ticket holders are advised to keep their ticket stubs safe with a date in the New Year now looking likely.
