Dietmar Bruck Supports FixFootball Petition

Former Coventry City player Dietmar Bruck, has called for an independent Government inquiry investigation as to how the Sky Blues left the Ricoh Arena.

Bruck, a Coventry City Diamond Club and Former Players Association member has signed the www.FixFootball.co.uk petition and told the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert: “The main reason for signing this is my love for the football club.

“The second reason is something very important to me, the city of Coventry, and all the former players - the supporters.

“They have been really let down. If nothing else, come back to the Ricoh for them.

“One of my concerns is that we have been in Northampton for 12 months and loyal supporters are finding other activities to fill their time.

“Some younger supporters will have never been to the Ricoh and the longer it goes on, the less likely they are to come in the first place - it needs addressing urgently.

“I think all the ex-players are of the same mindset. We as ex-players maintain that there’s no way we are going to Northampton - we feel it’s all wrong.

“I’m chocked really, like a lot of supporters. It saddens me to see the club where it is now.

“After all those years we are back to square one and that hurts because I love Coventry City and I love Coventry.”
