Coventry City are asking their fans to get creative and design the cover of their matchday programme for their nominated ‘Season of Action’ fixture against Milton Keynes Dons on 28 February at the Ricoh Arena.

The ‘Season of Action’ is a season-long initiative led by Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion organisation, promoting equality, inclusion and diversity across all levels of the game.

The design covers must promote the Sky Blues, contain the Kick It Out logo and be based around the theme of inclusion. The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Wednesday 18th February and a template can be downloaded by clicking here.

Entries need to be sent to info@ccfc.co.uk and will be judged by representatives from Kick It Out, Coventry City and Sky Blues in the Community.  The winner will see their design on the front cover of the matchday programme, receive a copy of their artwork signed by the Sky Blues squad, and  a family ticket for Coventry City’s fixture against MK Dons.

Rishi Jain, Kick It Out’s Football League Clubs Development Officer, said: “It’s fantastic to see clubs promote equality in innovative ways. A programme design contest is a really simple way for thousands of fans to engage in the work of Kick It Out.

“Coventry City undertake a range of positive initiatives and projects in their local community, and Kick It Out has developed a close working relationship with the club as they continue to show the importance they place on eradicating all forms of discrimination.”

Mark Hornby, Head of Marketing at Coventry City, said: “Everyone at Coventry City is very pleased to continue our support of the important work that Kick It Out do in such an exciting way and to give one young fan the amazing chance to see their design on the cover of PUSB is a great way to do this, alongside our matchday activities against MK Dons.”
