Decision Day For Williams

Adie Williams faces an uncertain future. Millwall have today to decide if they want to keep the 34 year defender signed last season from Reading.

New loan rules mean loan deals have to be extended by today if not they must wait until the transfer window re-opens on January 1st to bring in new players and with the Lions have taken Zak Whitbread on loan from Liverpool, Williams future at the New Den looks highly unlikely.

Williams who sat out Millwall's 1-0 midweek win over Norwich City said: "The new loan system is very strange, and I haven't had contact with anyone at Coventry. I respect Micky Adams as a manager but I want to keep playing regular football."
