Former Coventry City defender Liam Daish has said that he fancies managing a Football League club.

Daish has been manager of Conference South side Ebbsfleet since 2005 and told BBC Radio Kent: "They'd all interest me, it's whether people are interested in me.

"I'm not looking to tout myself about. Of course I want to go as high as I can in any career."

Daish who guided Ebbsfleet to an FA Trophy victory in 2008 added:"I've got a squad here who are hungry for success and I always wanted to wipe out the negative of last year with a positive this year.

"I'm not going to turn round and say 'I don't want to be a League manager, and manage at Championship or Premier League level'.

"I started off at the bottom as a player and went on to play in the Premier League and as an international and it's always in you."
