Covsupport News Service are delighted to announce that Coventry City defender Cyrus Christie has been voted as the Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year Award.

This is the second year in succession that the Coventry born defender has won the award and he joins Isaac Osbourne in being the second player to win the award two years on the trot.

Cyrus will hopefully be presented with the Christy Heffernan Memorial Trophy, first presented in 1999, after this afternoon's home game with Leyton Orient.
