Coventry United have accepted the invitation to compete in the Coventry Charity Cup in the new season.
The club which has taken over the franchise of Coventry Spires in the Midland Combinaton Division Two, has accepted the invite into the invitation only competition whose annual final is at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
Coventry Alliance Division Two Champions Sphinx Sports & Social are another of the new clubs to have accepted the invitation of the cup which started life in 1907 as the Coventry Nursing Cup
The draw for the opening round are to be made at the Coventry Charity Cup Committee Meeting on August 19th.
