The Coventry City London Supporters Club, tonight hold their 40th Anniversary Dinner.
The dinner will be held at the Wharfside Bar at Horniman at Hays, Hays Galleria, near London Bridge.
The London Supporters Club have put out the following statement:
"The Coventry City London Supporters Club (CCLSC) was formed on the 22nd November 1976 by a handful of enthusiastic sky blue fans based in London.
We are very proud to be holding our anniversary dinner on near London Bridge to celebrate becoming 40!
You live away from Coventry, but you are still a Sky Blues fan. If you can get to a game or two, after that long journey, sitting in a pub for lunch beforehand and then watching the game on your own can take the shine off the day.
For the last 40 years CCLSC have arranged for train travel to home and away games from London and match ticket collection for away games. Regular travellers meet before games at a designated pub for a pint or two. This is usually a real ale pub with food.
