Cov City Girls beat Redditch United 6-0 in a West Midlands Regional League Division One South fixture this afternoon.
At Coventry Sphinx, Cov were ahead in the 13th minute through Kaileigh Pahnke before two minutes later, an Alice Stutins strike flew in for the second.
A third from Pahnke followed in the 17th minute for a Cov side which were constantly denied by some breathtaking saves from the Redditch keeper.
These saves meant that it was not until the 69th minute that Cov got a fourth goal which came when Rheo Donnelly sent a superb 25 yard lob over the keeper and into the net.
In the 89th minute, Defender Hayley Griffiths ran and cut inside before thumping a shot high into the net for the fifth which was followed seconds from time by Rheo Donnelly racing through and beating the keeper to give Cov a 6-0 win.
