Council Clean Up On Parking Tickets

Proof if ever it was needed that the parking restrictions around the Arena were imposed to make money for Coventry City Council have come in the news that 49 parking tickets were issued to supporters who attended the game with Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

Having taken measures to introduce a matchday park no go zone around the Arena area which cost the council around £200,000's worth of Council tax payers money and ensure that supporters pay on average £4 to pay for the park and hike sites, the Council are keen to recuperate as much money as possible.

Therefore,we urge supporters not to park in the restricted zone if they do not have access to a housholders permit and to park where they can legally.
