Cork Attacked In Chelsea Brawl

Jack Cork made his Coventry City debut yesterday against Swansea City sporting a black eye.

The loanee from Chelsea got the shiner during a friendly for Chelsea Reserves against Al Hilal from the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday afternoon at their training ground at Cobham.

The match was abandoned after 35 minutes, following a mass brawl started by the visitors.

According to the News Of The World, Cork was put into a headlock and repeatedly hit whilst other players were attacked with karate kicks, kicks, hair pulled and eyes gouged.

The Football Association are to investigate the incident which was recorded by Chelsea TV.
