Coleman On Wright Dismissal

Coventry City defender Stephen Wright was incensed by the decision by referee Keith Stroud which saw him sent off in the 36th minute of Coventry City's 1-1 draw at Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.

"Wright wasn't happy and it looked a 50-50 challenge to me," said City boss Coleman to the media after the game.

"But I know Helguson is a tough lad who doesn't go down easily. I'll have a look at it, but if the challenge was high, I'm not going to bother appealing. How often do you see them rescinded?

"If Wright has caught him and got it wrong, then we'll just have to take it on the chin."

Wright was also cautioned in the 23rd minute in a decision seen as 'harsh' by many of the City supporters at Loftus Road.
