Coventry City captain Sammy Clingan was injured playing for Northern Ireland tonight in their European Champonship Qualifiying defeat against Estonia.

In the match in Belfast, Clingan lasted only 32 minutes before he was replaced by Corey Evans after suffering what looked to be a back injury.

Clingan went off holding the right side of his back. it is not known how serious the injury is.

Steve Davis gave Northern Ireland the lead but Vassiljev equalised in the 76th minute penalty before hitting the winner in the 84th minute from twenty five yards after the referee over-ruled his assistant who had his flag up.
