Coventry City, have according to reports, had a bid rejected for Sunderland striker Ryan Noble.
Sunderland are reported as having injuries amongst their strikers but may loan out the 20 year old who is a product of the Mackams Academy in January if the situation changes.
Andy Thorn is believed to have been looking for cover in case Lukas Jutkiewicz joined Southampton in a move which Thorn said was up to others not him.
