City's 22nd Visit To Bury

Saturday will see Coventry City’s 22nd visit to Gigg Lane for a League and Cup game.

City have won six of those games and drawn five times, scoring 21 goals to Bury’s 32. The Sky Blues’ biggest win at Gigg Lane was a 4-0 win in 1936 and their heaviest defeat was a 5-0 loss in 1923.  

The last time, City played at Bury in a League match was back on February 16th 2013 just after Mark Robins walked out on City and City won 2-0 with goals from Leon Clarke and Carl Baker.

City: Murphy, Dickinson, Cameron,Baker (c), McSheffrey (Fleck 86), Jennings (Thomas 91), Elliott (Moussa 74), L. Clarke, Christie, Wood, Bailey. Substitutes: J. Clarke, Barton, Dunn, Edjenguele.

Bury:Carson, Skarz, Eastham, Worrall, Schumacher (c), Bishop, Ajose (Fagan 86),  Regan (Jones 60), Zubar, Thompson, Soares (Carole 78). Substitutes: Carrington, Healy, Belford, Ebanks-Landell.
