Coventry City youngster Darragh Leahy played for the Republic Of Ireland U17's in the UEFA U17's European Championship game in their 2-0 defeat against Italy.
Ireland, having drawn 0-0 with the Netherlands in their opening game, again fielded Leahy who wore the number five shirt but they were a goal down inside ten minutes when Simone Lo Faso netted.
In the 56th minute, Mazzocchi scored a second for the Azurri with a low shot into the net.
