Coventry City are hoping that they can get Cyrus Christie to sign a new contract.
The defender, who has been watched by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Sheffield United, is understood to be keeping his options open but City would like to get him tied down.
Talks are underway and manager Steven Pressley said to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: “Cyrus is the one we still haven’t managed to get over the line,” confirmed City manager Steven Pressley. “We’d obviously love to keep him at the football club so we’ll see what the coming weeks and months bring.”
