Coventry City are waiting on the extend of Jodi Jones' injury.

The wideman was the victim of a heavy challenge in the 60th minute of the 1-1 draw at Stevenage on his left leg and had to be stretchered off and taken to hospital.

City manager Mark Robins was hoping that the news coming from the hospital was positive and told the media: " We don’t know yet, nobody seemed to see what happened.

“He has gone to hospital, gone for an x-ray so we have to wait and see but I’m hoping and praying that it’s not too serious.

“We just want to rule things out but he’s in some pain. We’re not ruling anything out, just checking it to make sure there’s no break but we just don’t know what the extent is yet.

Liam Kelly went off in the 18th minute with a foot injury which was a recurrence of a previous injury and Mark Robins hoped that with some rest, the midfielder would be back playing soon.
