Coventry City moved up to eighteenth in the League One table following their 1-0 victory at Colchester United.

The Sky Blues now have twenty points from eighteen goals and are five points clear of bottom side Crewe who lost 4-1 at Leyton Orient, four points ahead of Scunthorpe who drew 2-2 at Crawley, three points ahead of Yeovil who won 2-1 at Notts County and Colchester United whose defeat to City has seen them drop in to the bottom four.

Bristol City stay top despite losing 1-0 at home to Preston North End and are only a point clear of second placed Swindon Town who won 2-1 at Peterborough United.

MK Dons are fourth with a 1-0 win over Port Vale, with Sheffield United who drew 1-1 with Oldham Athletic in fifth.

Elsewhere, Chesterfield beat Barnsley 2-1, Walsall won 1-0 at Fleetwood and Doncaster won 3-1 at Rochdale.
