City Up A Place

Coventry City have moved up to sixteenth place in the table after their 1-1 draw at Southampton.

Wolves top the Championship after a 2-1 home win against Swansea. Birmingham,who Coventry travel to on Monday night are down to second after a 1-0 defeat at ten man QPR.

Cardiff are up to third after a 2-0 home win against Swansea with Burnley in fifth after beating fourth place Reading 1-0. Sheffield United stay in sixth after a 0-0 draw at Bristol City.

At the other end of the table, Nottingham Forest are off the bottom with a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace. Doncaster now occupy the bottom place after losing 1-0 at home to Barnsley whose win keeps Southampton in the bottom three.

Elsewhere,Derby beat Norwich 3-1, Ipswich drew 1-1 with Charlton, Preston beat Watford 2-0 and Plymouth won 1-0 at Sheffield Wednesday.

League One leaders Scunthorpe remain top on goal difference after losing 3-0 at Oldham. Millwall are second thanks to Lewis Grabban scoring a late goal in a 1-0 win.

Locally, Leamington's game and the Rugby V Bedworth match in the GX Cup was postponed. Atherstone v Nuneaton did go ahead and saw Boro take the lead in the 14th minute through Foster. Adders delighted a crowd of 378 when Greenway equalised and put his side ahead in extra time. Marsden got Nuneaton level in the 109th minute but it was Jimmy Ginnelly's side who emerged winners on penalties 4-3.

In the Midland Combinaton, both Coventry Copsewood and Massey Ferguson's games were postponed.
