City Supporters Concerned About The Club's Financial Future

Coventry City supporters are fearing for the club's financial future according to the results of a survey commissioned by the CT.

82.8% admitted to being concerned about the financial future of the club and 47.6% felt that finding new investment should be CCFC's top priority, whilst 34.7% felt that that City should buy the Ricoh Arena.

52.8% were undecided as to whether the board had their backing with only 22.6% giving them their backing.

Of the 48.5% who had a season ticket, 76.3% were renewing. 81.9% said the prices being charged for a season ticket were about right but 51.7% felt that match day ticket prices were too high.

The atmosphere at the Ricoh Arena was slammed with 23.9% calling it woeful whilst 58.9% said it was average at best.

The new home kit had 75.2% of those who responded either loving it or liking it.

It was overwhelmingly felt that City were right to sack Aidy Boothroyd and right to appoint Andy Thorn and the general feeling was that £1m-£3m needs to be spent on transfers in the close season.

Sammy Clingan was the clear winner to be the club's new captain and it was felt that Thorn was right to off-load Michael McIndoe, Stephen O'Halloran, Isaac Osbourne and Lee Carsley.

Clive Platt was the player those who responded to the poll want selling. Over 70% want him to be sold, whilst Freddy Eastwood get 59.6% of the vote and James McPake 25%
