Covsupport News Service's Kev Monks was tonight named Football League Fan Of The Year at the Football League Awards at The Brewery in London.
The Coventry City supporter had already been crowned the Championship Fan Of The Year and according to a panel of judges which included Matt Holland, his support and efforts were enough to win the final stage of the awards introduced by Mark Clennett.
Kev Monks said: "I didn't expect to get this far, so it was thrilling to just make the final three and be able to attend what was an excellent evening. "Then to actually get the award was something I will treasure for the rest of my life. "I would like to thank those who nominated me and everyone for their support and help."
