Coventry City's CEO Paul Clouting said tonight that the Coventry City board were speaking to investors both locally and internationally.

Clouting, who stressed that he is employed by CCFC not SISU was speaking at the Fans Forum in the Legends Lounge of the Ricoh Arena which was also attended by Andy Thorn, Richard Keogh, Gregor Rioch and David Busst.

Mr Clouting who is a football supporter and has previously worked at Ipswich and Derby said that he understands how important the club is to not its supporters but the people of Coventry.

He also said that whilst administration could never be ruled out, not for City or most Championship clubs due to the model for clubs in the Championship not being sustainable, he and the board were speaking to investors both locally and internationally in a bid to get them to invest in the club and help with the club's finances.
