City Still Fourth Despite 5-0 Win

Coventry City are still fourth in the League One despite sending Crewe Alexandra to the bottom of the table with a 5-0 hammering.

City have 47 points from 25 games and are four points behind leaders Burton Albion who beat Blackpool, who have dropped into the bottom four, 1-0 at home.

Tony Mowbray's side are three points behind Gillingham beat Bradford City 3-0 and a point behind Walsall who lost 3-0 at home to Rochdale.

However, the Sky Blues are six points ahead of Wigan Athletic who are fifth after a 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe United and seven points clear of sixth placed Peterborough United who won 3-2 at Sheffield United.

Southend are seventh despite losing 3-0 at home to eleventh placed Doncaster Rovers whilst at the bottom, Crewe are rock bottom with twenty points, one less than Colchester who drew 1-1 at Oldham who are just above them on goal difference.

Steven Pressley's Fleetwood moved out of the bottom four with a 2-0 win over Bury whilst Barnsley beat Millwall 2-1, Chesterfield beat Shrewsbury 7-1 and Port Vale's game with Swindon was postponed.
