City Stay Second Bottom

Coventry City are still second bottom of the Championship after a 2-1 home defeat to West Ham United. 

The Sky Blues were kept off the bottom of the table due to Doncaster Rovers losing 2-0 at Barnsley.

Both City and Doncaster remain a point behind Bristol City who travel to Millwall tomorrow and six points behind fourth from bottom Burnley who lost 2-1 at home to Leeds United.

Southampton remain five points clear of second place West Ham thanks to a 3-0 home win over Brighton.

Third placed Middlesbrough drew 2-2 with Blackpool whilst fourth placed Cardiff who travel to the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night won 2-1 at Reading.

Leeds are fifth and manager-less Hull won 2-0 at Derby to go sixth.

Elsewhere, former City striker Marlon King scored for Birmingham in a 1-1 draw with Peterborough, Nottingham Forest beat Ipswich 3-2 and Watford beat Portsmouth 2-0.
