Coventry City remain in eleventh place in the League One table after snatching a 1-1 draw at Preston North End.

City are eight points off the play-offs after Peterborough United moved back into sixth placed with a 3-0 win over 21st placed Tranmere Rovers.

Leyton Orient are back at the top the table after a brace from debutant Chris Dagnall gave them a 2-1 win at Leyton Orient.

Brentford are second after drawing 1-1 at Walsall with Wolves third, Preston fourth and Rotherham who won 3-0 at Shrewsbury Town in fifth.

Stevenage stay bottom after a 1-0 home defeat by Notts County with Callum Ball getting the goal. Bristol City are in 22nd after they drew 2-2 with MK Dons at Ashton Gate.

Port Vale moved up to eighth with a 1-0 win over Oldham ahead of Swindon Town who were beaten 2-0 at Gillingham.

Elsewhere, Colchester won 4-2 at Carlisle and Sheffield United drew 2-2 with Bradford City
