Coventry City remain eighth in the League One table after a number of matches were played on Tuesday night.

AFC Bournemouth, whom City travel to a in a fortnight's time, now top the table after a 2-1 win at Crewe Alexandra.

Doncaster stay second after a 0-0 draw with MK Dons at the Keepmoat Stadium. Fifth placed Sheffield United won 2-0 at Bury and sixth placed Brentford let fans pay what they wanted for their 2-0 home victory against Stevenage.

At the other end of the table, the bottom two sides met and 280 hardy Portsmouth fans made the trek to Hartlepool United for a 0-0 draw.
