Coventry City remain eighth in the League One table despite their 1-0 defeat to Yeovil Town.

The defeat means Mark Robins side who have 47 points are four points behind seventh placed Yeovil and sixth placed Brentford who drew 2-2 with Bury and fifth placed Sheffield United who won 2-1 at Shrewsbury.

Leaders Tranmere Rovers went down to a 2-1 defeat at Leyton Orient and Doncaster failed to go top after losing 2-1 at home to Walsall.

Fourth placed Bournemouth beat Portsmouth 2-0 whilst third placed Swindon were held to a 1-1 draw by Hartlepool United.

Elsewhere, Carlisle beat Stevenage 2-1, Colchester beat Preston 1-0, Notts County drew 1-1 with Crewe, Oldham beat MK Dons 3-1 and Scunthorpe beat Crawley 2-1.
