Coventry City stay 20th in League One after their 3-2 win at Chesterfield.

Early in that game, City had dropped into the bottom four as Leyton Orient were beating Yeovil Town 2-0 in a game which finished 3-0, but the Sky Blues going on to win, means that Orient still occupy the final relegation spot.

City have forty points, some two more than Orient, who have a game in hand and three points more than Crawley Town who won 3-2 at Colchester United, who are six points behind the Sky Blues on 34 points.

Crewe are only two points above City after getting beat 5-1 at Preston North End, who are second. Notts County are also looking over their shoulders after a 1-1 home draw with Bradford City along with Scunthorpe are only three points above City after a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United who are fifth.

Bristol City continue to lead the table after a 0-0 draw against Gillingham with Swindon who won 1-0 at Port Vale in third, MK Dons who drew 1-1 at Walsall in fourth and Barnsley are sixth thanks to a 3-1 win at Oldham.

Peterborough are up to seventh with a 2-0 win at Doncaster and Fleetwood are eighth thanks to a 1-0 home win over Rochdale.
