Coventry City have signed Maxime Biamou.

The 26 year old striker has signed from National League side Sutton United for a fee which City are saying is undisclosed.

Biamou has signed a two year deal with the Sky Blues which becomes effective on July 1st subject to a medical.

Speaking about Biamou, Mark Robins told Billie Marshall:

I’m delighted to welcome Maxime to Coventry City, having beaten a number of other clubs at our level to his signature.

“He provides an important different option to the attacking threats which we currently have.

“He is a raw talent with pace, power and aggression, and is also good in the air. We look forward to working with him and developing his ability further.”

The striker is expected to make his City debut in the pre-season game at Sutton United on July 8th.
