Last updated : 12 December 2012 By Covsupport News Service

Coventry City players have been out buying toys for some of the children who will be in hospital in Coventry over the Christmas period.

The players are supporting an appeal for toys for the Children's Unit at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire at Walsgrave, which will have 52 patients over Christmas.

The City players will visit the hospital this week and Captain Carl Baker wrote on Facebook; "Toy shopping for the children in Coventry who will be in hospital over Xmas. Love winning games an scoring goals but you can't beat making children happy over Xmas."
