City Old Boy's Team Qualify For Euros

Northern Ireland managed by former Coventry City midfielder Michael O'Neill have qualified for the 2016 European Championship.

Northern Ireland, with former City loanee Oliver Norwood playing the whole game, beat Greece 3-1 at Windsor Park with two goals from  Steven Davis and one from Josh Magennis send them through to a major tournament for the first time in thirty years.

Scotland, managed by former Coventry City player and manager Gordon Strachan drew 2-2 with Poland, whilst the Republic Of Ireland, who started with former Sky Blues Cyrus Christie and Richard Keogh beat Germany 1-0 thanks to a Long goal.

Former City loanee keeper Kasper Schmeichel played for Denmark in a 1-0 defeat away to Portugal who booked their place in France next year.
