City Old Boys Play For Northern Ireland Against Chile

Former Coventry City duo Sammy Clingan and Oliver Norwood played for Northern Ireland in their friendly 2-0 defeat against Chile.

Both Clingan, who now plays for Kilmarnock and Norwood who plays for Huddersfield, played for Northern Ireland who are managed by former City midfielder Michael O'Neill for a game in Valparaiso.

Norwood had a 38th minute free kick beaten away for a corner but Northern ireland under Michael O'Neill moved to over eight hundred minutes without a goal.

Chile had the better of the chances in the seocnd half and in the 79th minute, Vargas rose to back head home and three minutes later, Pinilla was sent on his way for a second goal and another defeat for Michael O'Neill's side.
