City Old Boys On International Duty

A number of former Coventry City players and managers were on international duty this weekend.

Former City striker Robbie Keane played for the Republic Of Ireland in their 1-1 draw with Poland in Dublin. Keiren Westwood, Cyrus Christie and Richard Keogh were unused substitutes.

Former loanee Oliver Norwood played for Michael O'Neill's Northern Ireland in a 2-1 win over Finland.

Former City loanee Chuba Akpom played as a 79th minute substitute for Aidy Boothroyd's England U20's in a 2-1 win over the USA in Plymouth.

Gordan Strachan's Scotland beat Gibraltar 6-1.

Yesterday, Chris Coleman's Wales won 3-0 in Israel and Aron Gunnarsson played for 72 minutes of Iceland's 3-0 win in Kazakhstan.
